Xiaomi MIX Flip/ Xiaomi 14T/ Xiaomi 14T Pro - EXCLUSIVE SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (hereafter the “T&C”) describe the rules governing the use of the VIP services (hereafter the “Exclusive Services”). They supplement the consumer rights provided by statutory law, and other rights granted in accordance with the terms and conditions published at  https://www.mi.com/uk/support/warranty/.

1.       SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND BENEFICIARIES

1.1. The Exclusive Services are limited to selected Xiaomi products: Xiaomi MIX Flip; Xiaomi 14T; Xiaomi 14T Pro (hereinafter the “Product(s)”) purchased through any Xiaomi official sales channels and activated in the Territory of United Kingdom (hereinafter the “Territory”).

1.2. The Exclusive Services are provided by: Xiaomi Technology UK Limited, having its registered office at 100 Brook Drive, Green Park, Reading RG2 6UJ, United Kingdom with registration number 11447538  (hereinafter Xiaomi).

1.3. Exclusive Services are available only to customers who are consumers, and who have purchased and activated the Products (hereinafter the “Beneficiaries” or “You”) under the conditions described below. 

1.4. Exclusive Services are available only to the Beneficiaries who have a personal Mi ID account. The Beneficiaries can register for a Mi ID free of charge through the www.mi.com webpage.

2.       EXCLUSIVE SERVICES

Exclusive Services include the following additional services:

2.1. Spotify Premium -  4 months free access (hereinafter, “Spotify Premium”).

2.2. Dragonpass Airport VIP/Exclusive Lounge - one-time access (hereinafter, “Lounge Service”).

2.3. Google One Cloud Storage 100GB - free access for 6 months;

2.4. YouTube Premium – free access for 3 months;

2.5. One (1) limited broken-screen warranty available for six (6) months from the date of purchase of the Product;

2.6. One (1) Out-Of-Warranty Repair With Free Labor Costs available for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase of the Product;

2.7. Exclusive Customer Services available for 24-months from the date of purchase of the Product;

2.8. Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service for Xiaomi MIX Flip.

3.       SERVICES DESCRIPTION

3.1   Spotify Premium

3.1.1         Xiaomi offers to the Beneficiaries 4 (four) months of free access to the Spotify Premium service (hereinafter, “Spotify Premium”). Spotify Premium is available to Individual Plan subscribers, may not be combined with other Spotify Premium offers, and is limited to new users of Spotify Premium. Spotify Premium is available only to the Beneficiaries who purchase the Product and redeem the service before August 8, 2026.

3.1.2         The Beneficiary may redeem Spotify Premium after one (1) day following the date of  Product activation.

3.1.3         To redeem Spotify Premium, the Beneficiary must request the Spotify Premium Service Link. The Beneficiary must log in to the IMEI activity page at [https://www.mi.com/uk/imei-redemption] using their personal MI ID,  and then complete the redeem form provided there. Upon the Beneficiary's submission of the request for the Spotify Premium Service Link, Xiaomi will verify the Beneficiary's eligibility. After successful verification, Xiaomi will provide the Spotify Premium Service Link via the email address provided by the Beneficiary. Xiaomi is not liable if the Beneficiary provides an incorrect email address and consequently does not receive the Spotify Premium Service Link.

3.1.4         The Beneficiaries must click the Spotify Premium Service Link, which will redirect them to the Spotify App on their device. Subsequently, the Beneficiary shall navigate to the “My Account” section and select “Get Spotify Premium.” The offer will then be displayed on the screen, and the Beneficiary may follow the provided instructions to redeem it.

3.1.5         A valid form of payment is required at sign-up, but the Beneficiaries will not be charged until the Spotify Premium 4 months free access expires. No refunds for partial billing periods are available. To avoid being charged, the Beneficiaries is recommended to cancel subscription at the end of Spotify Premium offer.

3.2   Lounge Service

3.2.1         Xiaomi offers the Beneficiaries 1 (one) time access to Lounge Service. Lounge Service is available only to the Beneficiaries who purchase Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Beneficiaries who purchase Xiaomi 14T/ Xiaomi 14T Pro before October 31, 2024 and redeem by March 31, 2025. The offer is available without time limit for the Beneficiaries who purchase the Xiaomi MIX Flip.

3.2.2         The Beneficiary fully understands and acknowledges that Lounge Service is provided by DragonPass Company Limited and its affiliates (hereinafter, “Dragonpass”). By using the Lounge Code and accessing the Lounge Service, the Beneficiary accepts and adhere to (a) Terms of service of Dragonpass: https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/info/termsofservice, and (b) the Privacy Policy of Dragonpass : https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/info/privacypolicy.

3.2.3         Online Redemption: The Beneficiary may redeem the Lounge Service after 14 days from the date of the Product activation. To redeem Lounge Service, the Beneficiary must request a Lounge Code. The Beneficiary must log in to the IMEI activity page at [https://www.mi.com/uk/imei-redemption] using their personal MI ID,  and then completing the redeem form provided there. The redemption of the Lounge Service done within 14 days from the date of activating the Product is not possible. Upon the Beneficiary's submission of the request for the Lounge Code, Xiaomi will verify the Beneficiary's eligibility. After successful verification, Dragonpass will provide the Lounge Code link via the email address provided by the Beneficiary. Xiaomi is not liable if the Beneficiary provides an incorrect email address and consequently does not receive the Lounge Code.

3.2.4         The Beneficiary can use the Service by presenting the Lounge Code and boarding pass at any Dragonpass Lounge Service point. The Lounge Code can be used without additional authorization and registration. By using the Lounge Code to enter the lounge, the Beneficiary can use the services in the same way as other Dragonpass users, without the need for additional actions.

3.2.5         The Lounge Code is valid for a single use only.

3.2.6         The Lounge Code is valid until 31st March 2025, therefore the Beneficiary should plan accordingly to utilize and benefit from the Lounge Service.

3.2.7         The Beneficiary can check the designated airport lounge through Dragonpass Airport Service network: https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/airports.

3.2.8         In case of any question regarding the use of the Lounge Service, the Beneficiary can contact the 24-hour Dragonpass customer service hotline +86 (20) 3231-1900 (English only).

3.3. 100 GB of Google One Cloud Storage for 6 months

3.3.1.        Xiaomi offers the Beneficiaries 6 (six) months of free access to the 100 GB of Google One Cloud Storage. Google One Cloud Storage, may not be combined with other Google One Cloud Storage offers, and is limited to new subscribers of Google One Cloud. Google One Cloud is available only to the Beneficiaries who purchase the Product and redeem the service before 31st July, 2025.

3.3.2.        To redeem Google One Cloud Storage, the Beneficiaries shall open the Google One app on their device and the offer would show up on the screen. Then the Beneficiaries can follow the instructions to redeem the offer.

A valid form of payment is required at sign-up, but the Beneficiaries will not be charged until the Google One Cloud Storage 6 months free access expires. No refunds for partial billing periods are available. The Beneficiaries can cancel the Google One Cloud Storage subscription anytime. To avoid being charged, the Beneficiaries is recommended to cancel subscription at the end of this Google One Cloud Storage offer.

3.3.3.         If the subscription is cancelled during the Google One Cloud Storage period, the membership will remain active until the end of the 6 months free access.

3.3.4.        During the Google One Cloud Storage offer period, Google One Terms of Service apply to the subscription. <https://one.google.com/terms-of-service>. The Google Privacy Policy will also apply <https://policies.google.com/privacy>.

3.4.  YouTube Premium 3 months access

3.4.1.        Xiaomi offers the Beneficiaries 3 (three) months of free access to the YouTube Premium service. YouTube Premium is available to Individual Plan subscribers, may not be combined with other YouTube Premium offers, and is limited to new users of YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium, and must not have been YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red, or Google Play Music subscribers before. YouTube Premium is available only to the Beneficiaries who purchase the Product and redeem the service before 31st July, 2025. 3.4.2.        To redeem YouTube Premium, Beneficiaries shall open the YouTube Premium app on their device and the offer would show up on the screen. Then Beneficiaries can follow the instructions to redeem the offer.

3.4.3.        A valid form of payment is required at sign-up, but the Beneficiaries will not be charged until YouTube Premium 3 months free access expires. No refunds for partial billing periods are available. Beneficiaries can cancel the YouTube Premium subscription anytime. To avoid being charged, Beneficiaries is recommended to cancel subscription at the end of this YouTube Premium offer.

3.4.4.         If the subscription is cancelled during the YouTube Premium 3 months free access period, the membership will remain active until the end of the 3 months free access.

3.4.5.        During the YouTube Premium offer period, YouTube Premium T&C apply to the subscription. <https://ams.event.mi.com/uk/youtubepremium> The Google Privacy Policy will also apply <https://policies.google.com/privacy>.

3.4.6.        Please refer to <https://ams.event.mi.com/uk/youtubepremium> to get more information about the YouTube Premium service.

3.5.  One (1) Limited Broken-Screen Warranty

3.5.1.        Xiaomi offers the Beneficiaries One-time (1) free screen replacement or repair service. The service is available only to Beneficiaries who purchase and the Product before September 26, 2025. The offer is valid during the first six (6) months after the date of first purchase of the Product by the Beneficiary and only if the screen of the Product is damaged or faulty by a non-intentional action by the Beneficiary (i.e. like non-intentional falling of the Product).

3.5.2.        The Beneficiaries must contact the Xiaomi Customer Service (information can be found in Annex I) to benefit from this offer. Beneficiaries might be requested to provide IMEI No., the invoice of the purchase or the delivery bill.

3.5.3.        The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center shall have the right to determine whether the screen requires replacement or repair. In either case, such replacement or repair shall be performed at no cost to the Beneficiary. If in the meantime, other Out of warranty faults are found, the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center may send the Beneficiaries a quotation for them.

3.5.4.        The offer does not apply to or cover the following situations: 

·        The serial number and/or IMEI number of the Product is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

·        The Product is determined to be counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi;

·        The damage to the screen is the result of intentional actions or gross negligence;

·        The damage is limited to the surface of the screen, including but not limited to scratches or other cosmetic impairments;

·        The damage is caused by malware, unauthorized software, or third-party applications utilized by the end user;

·        The Beneficiary fails to provide the invoice of purchase or delivery bill when requested;

·        The damage is attributable to use for purposes unintended by Xiaomi or the seller, or contrary to Xiaomi’s or the seller’s instructions, manuals, or guidelines;

·        The damage results from the Beneficiary’s own unauthorized repair or manipulation, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components.

3.5.5.        This offer is also not applicable to Products that, due to the damages or alteration of the screen, have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty standards.

3.5.6.        The list of authorized Xiaomi Authorized Service Center can be found in Annex I.

3.5.7.        Nothing in this offer shall limit Beneficiaries’ rights under the applicable law.

 

3.6.  One (1) Out-Of-Warranty Repair With Free Labor Costs

3.6.1.        Xiaomi offers the Beneficiaries One-time (1) out-of-warranty (OOW) repair with free labor cost (hereafter, “Free Labor Costs Repair”).  The offer is valid during the first twelve (12) months after the date of purchase of the Product by the Beneficiary. Only labor fees can be exempted, other spare parts cost and/or logistic cost shall subject to the respective Xiaomi Authorized Service Centre where the Free Labor Costs Repair is provided.

3.6.2.        The Beneficiaries must contact the Xiaomi Customer Service (information can be found in Annex I) to benefit from this offer. The Beneficiaries might be requested to provide IMEI Number of the Product, the invoice of the purchase or the delivery bill.

3.6.3.        The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center shall conduct an inspection of the Product and provide a repair proposal to the Beneficiary. The proposed offer shall exclude labor costs, which are provided at no charge. Please be advised that the cost of spare parts and logistics are excluded from the Free Labor Costs Repair coverage and shall be the responsibility of the Beneficiary. The Beneficiary may then elect to accept the offer and proceed with the repair of the Product or decline the offer. In the event the Beneficiary chooses not to accept the offer, the Product will be returned, and the Beneficiary shall be responsible for the inspection costs and logistics fees.

3.6.4.        The offer does not apply to or cover the following situations: 

·        The serial number and/or IMEI number of the Product is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

·        The Product is determined to be counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi;

3.6.5.        The list of authorized Xiaomi Authorized Service Center can be found in Annex I.

3.6.6.        Nothing in this offer shall limit the Beneficiaries’ rights under the applicable law.

3.7.  24-month Exclusive Customer Service

3.7.1.        During the Service period, the Beneficiaries can benefit from Exclusive Hotline Services: 0800 021 1888 (Opening Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 – 18:00).

3.7.2.        In any case, the Beneficiaries may contact regular Xiaomi Customer Service through the contact information provided in Annex I.

3.8.  Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service

3.8.1.        The Beneficiaries who purchased Xiaomi MIX Flip will be eligible for the Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service (including SWAP repair service and software upgrade service) at the designated service center(s) of Xiaomi in the markets listed in the terms and conditions of Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service for Xiaomi MIX Flip.

3.8.2.        The services under International Warranty Service will be provided: (1) in accordance with the laws and standards in the market where the services are provided, to the extent permitted by local laws, and (2) based on the availability of materials in this market, to ensure that the Xiaomi MIX Flip can be used normally in the market where services are provided.

4.       MISCELLANEOUS

4.1.             Xiaomi attaches great importance to our Users' privacy and is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. Xiaomi strictly complies with all applicable laws and privacy policies for processing your personal information necessary to provide after-sales services (including maintenance, repair and/or spare phone lending services) to You.

4.2.             For the purpose of providing you the Services under this agreement, Xiaomi will act as the data controller and we will collect, store and use your strictly necessary contact information (name, phone number, email address, ID number) and the device information. Please note that we may share also this information with any of our Authorized Service Centers, if necessary.

4.3.             To exercise your data protection rights and find out more about our privacy policies, please visit:  https://privacy.mi.com/all/languages/.  

4.4.             The maintenance of some components may be required for replacement of spare parts. Therefore, the repaired products or parts may not be the original ones.

4.5.             These Exclusive Services are only applicable to the Products described above on clause 1. Other Xiaomi devices are not be eligible for these Exclusive Services.

4.6.             The Beneficiary acknowledges that the general terms and conditions described on https://www.mi.com/uk/support/warranty/ remain applicable. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions described on the relevant www.mi.com page, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These terms and conditions are subject to UK law.

 

THESE EXCLUSIVE SERVICES DO NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE. FOR A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF YOUR RIGHTS, WE INVITE YOU TO CONSULT THE LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PROVINCE OR STATE.
