THIS XIAOMI SMARTPHONE INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY SERVICE FOR XIAOMI MIX FLIP (“WARRANTY”) IS A VOLUNTARY MANUFACTURER’S COMMERCIAL GUARANATEE, ADDITIONAL TO THE CONSUMER RIGHTS GRANTED BY LEGAL WARRANTY UNDER APPLICABLE LAWS AND OTHER COMMERCIAL WARRANTIES WHICH ARE PROVIDED ACCORDING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS PUBLISHED ON: https://www.mi.com/global/support/warranty .

Warranty is particularly useful to Consumers, who purchase a Product within the included Markets and require warranty service in another participating Market.

 

1.       GURANTOR INFORMATION

The Warranty is offered by Xiaomi H.K. Limited, registered at Suite 3209, 32/F, Tower 5, The Gateway, Harbour City, 15 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (“Xiaomi”)


2.       WARRANTY DURATION

The period of this Warranty is 24 months calculated from the first purchase date of the Product.


3.       SCOPE OF THE WARRANTY

Consumers who purchase a Xiaomi MIX Flip (“Product”) from any official authorized Xiaomi sales channel in a Market listed in the “Table 1” and activated their Product within that Market, or who comply with conditions set forth by Xiaomi (“Consumers”) will be eligible for Warranty. Warranty can be accessed at designated Xiaomi Service Centers in a Markets listed in “Table 1”.

 

The Warranty will be provided:

(1) in accordance with the laws and standards in the Market where the services are provided, to the extent permitted by local laws, and

(2) based on the availability of materials in this Market, to ensure that the Product can be used normally in the Market where Warranty is provided.

5.       WARRANTY SERVICE TYPES

Warranty will include the following service types:

1.       In-Warranty Service: To receive in-warranty service, provide a valid proof of purchase. The Xiaomi’s Service Center confirms if warranty conditions are met and, if so, will offer free service. Procedures and criteria may vary by Market.

2.       Out-of-Warranty Service: For Products whose warranty period has expired or that are not covered by warranty, defective spare parts may be replaced at the applicable local Xiaomi Service Center with a charge. The cost of spare parts and labor is determined by the local Xiaomi’s Service Center where the service is provided.

Spare parts available for the Out-of-Warranty service under Xiaomi’s warranty include: motherboard, screen, battery, battery cover and others components. Availability of these spare part is subject to the local Xiaomi Service Center.

 

The Consumer shall be advised that the appearance and functionality of the Product or repaired materials may differ as a result of service rendered.

Additionally, the safety qualification standards and marks for the Product or repaired materials may be applicable only in the Market where the Warranty is provided. These standards may differ from the legal requirements applicable at the location, where the Consumer originally purchased and activated the Product, due to variations in local laws.   

 

6.       EXLUSIONS

This Warranty shall not apply to the following circumstances:

a.        The Warranty provides coverage solely for repair services, including SWAP repairs and Software upgrades, within the specified Markets, by does not include returns of Products. Additional services are subject to the provisions of the Market where the service is rendered.

b.       Consumers are obligated to provide authorization for the collection of information necessary to fulfill the Warranty, and to sign the handover and instruction forms, Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the applicable Xiaomi Service Center refusing to provide Warranty.

c.        Warranty will not be provided for Products purchased through unofficial channels. Consumers are advised to purchase devices through official channels recognized by Xiaomi.

 

Furthermore, this Warranty will not cover the following case:

a.        Products that are not covered by the Warranty.

b.       Products are not sold and activated in the Markets listed in the “Table 1”.

c.        Products purchased through unofficial channels in the Markets listed in “Table 1”.

d.       Any modification, disassembly, or repair of the Product not authorized by Xiaomi.

e.       Products that exceed the Warranty Duration in the Market where the service is provided.

f.         Situations where only a refund or replacement is requested without a Product quality issue.

g.        Products that are unusable due to cross-region incompatibility rather than device failure (e.g., lack of support for regional network standards, or inability to access the Internet.)   

h.       Issues beyond the scope of the statutory service policy applicable at the service place.

 

Nothing in this Warranty shall limit Consumers’ rights under applicable law.
