Always-on display(AOD)doesn't work on the Redmi 10 5G

If the Always-on display (AOD) feature is not working on your Redmi 10 5G, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
1. Ensure that your phone's operating system is up-to-date. Software updates often include bug fixes, security patches, and improvements that can address software-level issues;
2. Please note that this feature is only available on the OLED screen smartphones;
3. Check if the Always-on display feature is available or enabled by going to [Settings] >> [Always-on display & Lock screen] >> enable [Always-on display];
4. Xiaomi has designed it to turn off automatically in 10 seconds. This design can effectively reduce the power consumption of the mobile phone, allowing your mobile phone to be used for a longer time. And when you want to use always on display to check the time at any time, just pick up the phone and light up the screen, which will still guarantee your normal use experience;
5. If the feature is enabled but there is nothing changed on the lock screen, please verify whether you installed third-party apps, such as theme, font, security/optimizer, battery manager, or system launcher. Unlike the MIUI built-in features, these apps may not be compatible with the operating system or user interface and may cause your smartphone not to enable the Always-on display feature. In this case, please uninstall the above-mentioned third-party apps.
We hope the above information is helpful. If the issue still occurs, we hope you could submit user feedback by going to [Settings] >> [Services & feedback], and wait for the future updates.
