Why is there no blur effect when taking photos using portrait mode?

For your reference, here are the reasons for lacking blur effect in portrait mode:
1. If the subject is too far from the camera, the portrait algorithm can not be able to effectively apply the blur effect;
2. Motion blur caused by an unstable hand while taking the photo can cause the lack of blur effect;
3. There is a malfunction or error in the camera's portrait mode feature, resulting in a failed application of the blur effect.
