Why does the map set in the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum S20+ have abnormal conditions?
The reasons for a skewed map are shown below:
1. Mirror reflections can distort mapping. It is recommended that the bottom be covered a length of 15cm;
2. After the map is created for a period, it can have overlaps or rotations. You can restore it to a historical map in the APP. The map will be created again during the next time cleaning;
3. Regularly check whether the navigation scanning components are dirty. Please clean them with a dry cloth or tissue;
4. Restart or reset the robot if necessary.
The reason for incomplete map after quick mapping is shown below:
If all doors are not fully open and you stand too close or follow the robot, the map will be incomplete after quick mapping. If the map is incomplete, you can delete the map from the map list and remap it. Alternatively, you can perform a cleaning on the original map, which will automatically update and fill in missing areas and zones.
