If the touch screen of your Xiaomi Smart Band 8 isn't sensitive, please refer to the following steps:
1. Ensure the screen is clean and free of any dirt, dust, or smudges. The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 is 5ATM water resistant, meaning it can withstand pressures equivalent to a depth of 50 meters. It's suitable for activities like swimming in shallow water but not for diving or high-pressure water sports. Please check whether the band has been soaked in water, causing the touch screen to become insensitive. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the screen;
2. If you are using a screen protector, it might affect the touch sensitivity. Try removing it to see if the sensitivity improves;
3. Restart your Xiaomi Smart Band by powering it off and then turning it back on. This can sometimes resolve the issues;
4. Ensure your smart band is running the latest firmware version. Check for updates through the Mi Fitness app and install any available updates;
5. Ensure the band is dry. Moisture or sweat on the screen can affect touch sensitivity. Dry the band thoroughly if it is wet;
6. If none of the above steps work, consider performing a factory reset. This will restore the band to its original settings, but you will lose any personalized settings and data. Check the user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset;
