A: Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch does not support remote start up when the watch is turn off, but you can set up a remote turn off and set up a regular start up via the app.

A:To make a voice/video call on the watch: Swipe to the Phone screen (left swipe on the dial screen (clock screen)) in the feature list, enter and select the corresponding contact and tap on the voice/video call to make the call.
To answer a voice/video call on your watch: when you receive an incoming call, tap the corresponding button on the screen to answer or hang up the voice/video call.

Make a voice/video call from the phone: Xiaomi Kids app→Messages→Select Phone/Video call; the watch will receive a call request and the child can choose to answer or decline the call.
Phone to answer a voice/video call: When you receive an incoming call, tap the corresponding button on the screen to answer or hang up the voice/video call.
Notes:
1. When the watch is connected to WiFi, the video call function gives priority to the Wi-Fi network; when it is not connected to WiFi, the video call function uses the data traffic from the SIM card inside the watch.
2. To protect your child's eyes, the maximum duration of video calls is 10 minutes each time.

9.Q:How do I send/receive voice on Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch?
A:Swipe to the voice message screen in the function list (left swipe on the dial screen (clock screen)), enter and select the corresponding contact and click on the message to send and receive voice.

A:Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, the watch will vibrate and an emergency distress message will be sent out, the bound parent's phone will receive a distress alert and the phone will push a notification screen with animation.

A:A:The two watches automatically add each other to their contacts and can make calls to each other, send voice chats and view their friends' pedometer rankings.
Steps to add a friend:
Method 1: Swipe left on the watch displays screen (clock screen), go to Phone/Voice→make friends→Touch, turn on the "Touch" function on both watches, bring the two watches close together and wait a few moments before adding them automatically.

Method 2: Swipe left on the watch displays screen (clock screen), go to Phone/Voice→make friends→Captcha, watch holder A select invite friends, tell watch holder B the verification code, holder B select "accept invitation", enter the verification code of holder A, confirm after entering, both parties will be automatically added.

Method 3: Xiaomi Kids app→My→Address Book→Add contacts→Select "Add watch friend"→Enter the watch number of the other person or scan the QR code of the other person's watch (swipe up at the bottom of the watch displays screen (clock screen) → QR code) to complete the friendship.

15.Q:Can I transfer my administrator permissions for Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch?
A:You can transfer your account by logging into your original administrator account and going to Xiaomi Kids app→My→Address Book→click on the group member you want to transfer→select Transfer administrator permissions.
If you only have Call members, you cannot transfer them. You need to join the family group before you can transfer them.
 

16.Q:Does the screen of the Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch support gloves or wet hands? Will the touch screen watch work?
A:Wearing gloves and having wet hands can affect the sensitivity of the touch screen. It is not recommended to wear gloves, have wet hands or have liquid on the surface of the screen to operate the watch.
Touch screen gloves are not recommended because the touch area of touch screen gloves is relatively large, while the sensing area of each function on the screen of our watches is small and can easily be touched by mistake and affect the experience of using the watch.

17.Q:Does Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch support changing watch displays, clock formats?
A:To change the watch displays, press and hold the watch displays screen (clock screen) and then tap the left and right arrows to change the watch displays, or go to Watch Setting→Dial switch→tap the left and right arrows to change the watch displays.

The clock format can be switched to support the selection of 12-hour and 24-hour systems. Setting path: Watch Setting→Clock format→Select 12Hour or 24Hour.

18.Q:Does Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch support adjustment of screen brightness and duration of brightness?
A:You can adjust the brightness of the watch screen by tapping the power button in the watch displays screen (clock screen) to enter the list of applications → Setting → Brightness → slide to adjust the brightness and tap the confirmation "√" at the bottom. The watch screen brightness time is not adjustable, the default is to lock the screen automatically after 10s of no operation.

Connection steps:

26.Q:How to set DND in school on Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch?
A:Xiaomi Kids app→My→Watch management→DND. When the watch is set to automatically turn on and off anti-disturbance in school, it can only check the time and send SOS while retaining the location function; parents can contact their child after turning off anti-disturbance remotely.
If Customised DND periods are set, the watch will automatically enter the anti-disturbance state during the time period, regardless of location.

To manage SMS messages more conveniently, the Xiaomi Kids app can set up a whitelist of SMS messages in the Xiaomi Kids app → My → Watch management → The watch receives SMS. When whitelisting is enabled, the watch can only display whitelisted SMS messages, the app can still view non-whitelisted SMS messages.

A:You can receive the verification code. If the watch wants to receive SMS from non-family members, you need to change the option to receive all SMS in the parent app - My Watch - Watch Management - Watch Receive SMS
  

32.Q:Does Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch supports Call whitelist?
A:Support. When Call whitelist is turned on, only family members can call the watch. Call whitelist will only work if the SIM card installed in the watch has Caller ID enabled, and will not work if Caller ID is not enabled.
To disable Call whitelist, please turn off Call whitelist in Xiaomi Kids app-My-Call whitelist.

33.Q:Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch is whitelisted, why can unfamiliar numbers still call the watch?
A:1. Judge whether the SIM card is open for Caller ID, if the SIM card is not open for Caller ID, it will not be able to identify the dialed number, so unfamiliar numbers can still call in. You need to contact the SIM card operator to confirm whether Caller ID is enabled;

While the watch is charging, the watch can only use the settings function, other functions can only be used after removing the charger.

Notes:
1. Please do not charge in a humid environment.
2. Please ensure that the metal probes on the watch body and the magnetic charging cable are not dirty or corroded.
3. Periodically clean the metal probes on the back of the watch and on the magnetic cable with a clean lint cloth. Make sure that the probes of the watch and the charger are in full contact to ensure proper charging.
4. The watch does not come with an adapter as standard. To ensure personal and property safety, you can use a computer USB port or a power adapter with CCC certification for charging. Manual upgrade: You can tap the power button in the watch displays interface (clock interface) to enter the application list → Setting → About, and you can choose to upgrade manually when a new version is detected.

43.Q:What is the water resistant of Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch?
A:1.The watch can reach 20 meters water resistant rating, but not applicable to shower, deep diving or other activities involving high-speed water flow. 20 meters water resistant rating is not permanent, may be reduced due to daily wear and tear, more details please follow the instructions;
2. Liquid dripping onto the screen surface will cause the touch screen sliding response to become sluggish, which is a normal phenomenon. The screen surface of the liquid can be wiped clean to restore the normal touch effect;

44.Q:Why does the Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch get hot easily when making video calls?
A:1. Video call requires the use of camera & 4G/Wi-Fi network as well as the screen, which generates high power consumption and the surface temperature of the watch will increase;
2.The temperature of the watch during video call has been strictly tested and will not cause any harm to users. If the video call is used continuously, for the safety of users, we will actively hang up the video call when the temperature of the back of the watch case reaches 43℃, and it can be used only after it is lower than 40℃.

53.Q:Why does Xiaomi Smart Kids Watch need a pop-up window to confirm authorization before I can use Call history and other functions?
A:Because Call history and other information is sensitive content, the watch administrator needs to confirm authorization in the Permission management interface before other family members can view it; if the administrator needs to re-authorize it after rejecting it, you can re-authorize it in My-About-Permission management, and then it can be used normally.
