Xiaomi 14T/Xiaomi 14T Pro - VIP EXCLUSIVE SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This offer is in addition to the consumer rights granted by the statutory guarantee, according to the terms and conditions published on: https://www.mi.com/ph/support/warranty/.

1.       SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND BENEFICIARIES

This offer is limited to selected Xiaomi smartphones (only applicable to the following specific models: Xiaomi 14T/Xiaomi 14T Pro) (hereinafter the “Product(s)”) purchased through any Xiaomi official sales channels (online or offline) and activated in the Territory of Philippines (hereinafter the “Territory”). This offer is provided by Xiaomi H.K Limited registered at Suite 3209, 32/F, Tower 5, The Gateway, Harbour City 15, Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (hereinafter “Xiaomi” or “we”).

Only consumers that have purchased and activated the aforementioned Products are eligible to benefit from this offer (hereinafter “Beneficiaries” or “you”) at the conditions described below.  

 

2.       AFTERSALES SERVICES

This offer will include the following additional after-sale services:

i. One-time Dragonpass Airport VIP Lounge (please refer to point‎ 4.1.);

ii. 100GB of Google One cloud storage for 6 months (please refer to point‎ 4.1.);

iii.  24-month quality assurance (please refer to ‎4.2.;)

iv.  One (1) limited broken-screen warranty  in 6 months (please refer to point‎4.3.);

v.   One (1) out-of-warranty repair with free labor costs within 12 months (please refer to point ‎4.4.);

vi.  Spare phone (please refer to point ‎4.5.);

vii.  24-month Exclusive VIP customer services (please refer to point ‎4.6.).;

viii. Hassle-Free Repairs within 24 months (please refer to point‎ 4.7.)

(hereinafter, “Services”)

 

3.       PERIOD OF THE SERVICES

-          One-time access to Dragonpass Airport VIP Lounge (hereinafter, “Lounge Service”). The Lounge Service is available only to the Beneficiaries who purchase Xiaomi Mix Flip and the Beneficiaries who purchase Xiaomi 14T/ Xiaomi 14T Pro before November 4, 2024 to successfully redeem the Longue Service. This offer is valid until March 31, 2025.

-          100GB of Google One cloud storage for 6 months. To enjoy this service, beneficiaries need to purchase and activate the product before July 31, 2025. The offer expires and must be redeemed by July 31, 2025.

-          24-month quality assurance: twenty-four (24) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user

-          One (1) limited broken-screen warranty : six (6) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user. The purchase date must be before September 26, 2025.

-          One (1) out-of-warranty repairs with free labor costs: twelve (12) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user.

-          Spare Phone: twenty four (24) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user

-          Exclusive VIP customer service: twenty four (24) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user

-          Hassle-Free Repairs: free pickup and delivery within twenty four (24) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user

 

4.       SERVICES DESCRIPTION

4.1   Airport VIP Lounge

The Beneficiary who purchases Xiaomi 14T/ Xiaomi 14T Pro before November 4, 2024 to successfully redeem the Longue Service. in accordance with the procedure mentioned below, is entitled for one-time access to the Lounge Service.

i.                        Acceptance of Terms

The Beneficiary fully understands and acknowledge that Lounge Service is provided by DragonPass Company Limited and its affiliates (hereinafter, “Dragonpass”). By using the Service Code Link and accessing the Lounge Service, the Beneficiary accepts and adhere to (a) Terms of service of Dragonpass: https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/info/termsofservice,  and (b) the Privacy Policy of Dragonpass : https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/info/privacypolicy.

ii.                       Redemption of the Lounge Service

You can start to redeem this benefit after 14 days from the date when you activate the Product. To redeem the benefit, you should go to the Xiaomi authorized service center or offline Xiaomi store, scan the QR code and enter the activity page. Or you can  redeem this benefit through the activity link: https://sg.m.beehive.miui.com/yDZXrXZkzZ6wHbrYgXgLFQ. You then need to fill in the Beehive questionnaire with the IMEI of your Product,  your email according to the following steps.

After you submit your information successfully, Xiaomi will review your eligibility. If your eligibility passes the review, Dragonpass company or Xiaomi global Customer Service will issue the airport lounge service benefit via the email address you filled in the Beehive questionnaire within 1 business day. If you fail to receive the email due to your incorrect filling, Xiaomi will not be liable for this, so please fill in your email accurately.

If you have any questions about filling the Beehive questionnaire, you can go to the Xiaomi authorized service center or Xiaomi offline Xiaomi store and contact the staff at store. The staff at store will guide user to fill in the Beehive questionnaire.

iii.                        Verification and Receipt of Service Code

Upon successful submission of the redeem form, Xiaomi will review the Beneficiary’s eligibility. If the Beneficiary’s eligibility is confirmed, the Beneficiary will receive a Lounge Service Link (hereinafter, “Service Code”) to the email address provided by the Beneficiary in the redeem form. Xiaomi bears no responsibility for the non-receipt of the Service Code to an incorrectly entered email address.

iv.                        How to use the Lounge Service

The Beneficiary can use the Service by presenting the Service Code Link and boarding pass at any outlet in DragonPass’s global service network. The Service Code Link can be used without additional authorization and registration. By using the Service Code to enter the lounge, the Beneficiary can use the services in the same way as other Dragonpass users, without the need for additional actions. The Service Code Link is valid for a single use only.

v.                        Validity of Longue Service

The Service Code will be valid until 31st March 2025, please arrange your time to redeem and enjoy your benefits.

vi.                       Availability of Longue Service

The Beneficiary can check the designated airport lounge through Dragonpass Airport Service network: https://en.dragonpass.com.cn/airports.

vii.                     Contact for Questions

In case of any question regarding the use of the Longue Service, the Beneficiary can contact the 24-hour Dragonpass customer service hotline +448081966002 (English & Mandarin Service) or email support.apac@dragonpass.com.cn.

4.2   100GB of Google One cloud storage for 6 months

This Google One membership offer provides beneficiaries with subscription benefits at no charge for a period of 6 months from the day you redeem the offerGoogle One benefit period. To enjoy this 100GB of Google One cloud storage, beneficiaries need to purchase and activate the product before July 31, 2025. This offer expires and must be redeemed by July 31, 2025. This offer is limited to new users to Google One only and may not be combined with other Google One offers.

To redeem this offer, beneficiaries need to open the Google One app on their device. After that, beneficiaries need to open the Google One app and the offer would show up on the screen. Then beneficiaries can follow the instructions to redeem the offer. The Offer also requires a Google Payments account with a qualifying form of payment at sign-up. During the Google One benefit period, Google one Terms of Service would apply to the subscription. <https://one.google.com/terms-of-service>. The Google Privacy Policy will also apply <https://policies.google.com/privacy>.

After redeeming the Google One offer, beneficiaries will be acknowledged of  the end date in the subscriptions page in the Google Play Store. On the date that the Google One benefit period ends, the subscription will begin and a form of payment will be automatically charged at the standard monthly Google One subscription price, until the subscription is cancelled. No refunds for this extra charge . Beneficiaries can cancel the subscription anytime. To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the end of this Google One offer.

If the subscription is cancelled during the Google One benefit period, the membership will remain active until the end of the Offer Period. If you cancel your subscription and have exceeded your Google Account storage limit during the Offer Period, you won't be able to store anything new until you make space or purchase a Google One membership.

4.3   24-month quality assurance

The Product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during TWENTY FOUR (24) months from the date Beneficiaries purchased the Product (hereinafter, “Warranty Period”).

If a hardware defect is found and a valid claim is received by Xiaomi within the Warranty Period, Beneficiaries will be eligible to get the Product be repaired or be replaced for free in according to “Warranty” https://www.mi.com/ph/support/warranty/.

 In the event Beneficiaries enjoy any free warranty services, Beneficiaries are advised to fully “backed-up” and/or delete all personal data before handling the Product to Xiaomi Authorized Service Center. Please note that in the process of any warranty services, the Product content and software settings will be restored to factory settings and all personal data and settings in the Product will not be restored. Xiaomi shall not be liable if the contents in the Product’s data storage media were altered, deleted, or in any way modified during any warranty services.

This 24-month warranty service will not apply to the following scenarios and Beneficiaries shall bear the full cost of repairs or materials (charges will be subject to the provisions of Xiaomi or Xiaomi Authorized Service Center):

-            damage caused by transportation or loading and unloading during return or replacement or repair;

-            damaged caused by accidental or man-made behaviors, such as liquid damage, falling, input unsuitable voltage, excessive extrusion, main board deformation, etc. and other phenomena are also included, for example, the power adapter is damaged, cracked, broken or deformed, and the power cable is damaged, broken or bare;

-            damage caused by force majeure events such as war, fire, typhoon, flood or earthquake or similar events beyond the control of Xiaomi;

-            damage caused by the use of non-original batter or battery leakage;

-            Beneficiary does not provide the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill or warranty card if it is required;

-            serial number and/or the IMEI number is inconsistent, damaged or has been removed or tampered;

-            the Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi.

-            defect is caused by an unintended use or uses that are contrary to Xiaomi’s or the Xiaomi´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;

-            defect arises from the Beneficiaries’ own or unauthorized repair/manipulation/alteration/modification, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components on the Product;

-            operational problems and malfunctions caused by software installation and configuration or computer viruses;

-            weak signal due to telecommunication operator’s service problem;

-            the Warranty Period has expired.

 

4.4   One (1) limited broken-screen warranty

Beneficiaries who purchase the Product between the September 26, 2024 and September 26, 2025 are eligible for a One-time (1) free screen replacement or repair service during the first six (6) months after the date of first purchase of the Product by the end user (hereinafter, “Screen Repair Period”), if the screen of the above mentioned Products is damaged or faulty by a non-intentional action by end users (i.e. like non-intentional falling of the Product).

Such repair of the screen shall be free of any charge. If the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center assesses the screen should be replaced, such replacement of the screen shall also be free of any charge.

In order to benefit from this offer, Beneficiaries must contact the Xiaomi Customer Support. Beneficiaries might be requested to provide the invoice of the purchase or the delivery bill.

a)        Exclusions

This Service does not apply to or cover the following situations: 

  1. The serial number and/or IMEI number of the Product is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

  2. The Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi;

  3. Damages to the screen are caused intentionally or with gross negligence;

  4. Damages affect only the surface of the screen, such as scratches or other aesthetic appearance of the screen;

  5. Damages are incurred by malware, unauthorized software or third-party apps used by the end users;

  6. The Beneficiary does not provide the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill if it is required;

  7. The defect is caused by a non-intended purposes use or contrary to Xiaomi’s or the seller´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;

  8. The defect arises from the Beneficiary’s own or unauthorized repair/manipulation, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components.

This service is not also applicable to Products that, due to the damages or alteration of the screen, have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty standards.

Nothing in this offer shall limit Beneficiaries’ rights under the applicable law.

 

4.5   ONE (1) OUT-OF-WARRANTY REPAIRS WITH FREE LABOR COSTS

Beneficiaries are eligible for ONE (1) out-of-warranty repair (“OOW Repair”) with free labor cost within TWELVE (12) months from the date Beneficiaries purchased the Product (hereinafter, “OOW Repair Period”). Only labor fees can be exempted, other spare parts cost and/or logistic cost shall subject to the respective Xiaomi Authorized Service Centre where the OOW Repair is provided.

  1. Mechanism of the OOW repair

For the performance of the out of warranty repair (hereinafter “Repair”), the Beneficiaries will benefit from labor fees for free (spare parts costs and/or logistics costs excluded as better specified under A (i) and A (ii) below).

During the OOW Repair Period, Beneficiaries can make use of the Service in two (2) ways:

i.                     Take the Product to the front-end Xiaomi Authorized Service Center for on-site repair

Beneficiaries can directly take the Products to one of the Xiaomi Authorized Service Centers as listed on https://www.mi.com/ph/support/service-centre/ for the Repair.  

The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will verify the fulfillment of all the conditions imposed for the eligibility of this Service, under the scope of this agreement: ownership and product eligibility.

The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will perform an inspection and provide the Beneficiary with a work estimate for the repair of the Product. The labor cost will already be extracted from this offer. Please note that the cost of spare parts and, if necessary, logistics are not part of this Service and shall be borne by the Beneficiary.

Based on the work estimate, Beneficiaries will decide whether to proceed with the Repair or not. In the latter case, the Products will be returned and the inspection costs will be borne by the Beneficiaries.

Contact the Xiaomi Customer Service via local mi.com for mail-in repair

Beneficiaries can contact Xiaomi Customer Service during the OOW Repair Period through the contact information as listed on https://www.mi.com/ph/support/service-centre/ and apply for the Service.  

The Xiaomi Customer Service will ask Beneficiaries to provide invoice of the purchase or delivery bill and IMEI number of the Product, in order to check if the conditions of the Service are fulfilled and arrange mail-in repair.

After the device is arrived at the mail-in repair center, an inspection of the Product will be performed and a detailed offer for the repair of the Product. The labor cost will already be extracted from this offer. Please note that the cost of spare parts and logistics are not part of this Service and shall be borne by the Beneficiary. Beneficiaries can then decide whether to accept the offer and have the Product repaired, or not. In the latter case, the Product will be returned, the inspection costs and logistics fee will be borne by the Beneficiaries.

  1. This Service does not apply to or cover the following situations

  1. The serial number and/or IMEI number is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

  2. The product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi.

 

4.6   SPARE PHONE

Spare phone is understood as a device provided to the Beneficiaries while the Product is being repaired by the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center (hereinafter “Spare Phone(s)”).

Beneficiaries will be eligible for the Spare Phone service, when Beneficiaries going directly to the front-end Xiaomi Authorized Service Center (as listed on https://www.mi.com/ph/support/service-centre/) during the Period of TWENTY FOUR (24) months since first purchase by end user and whose Product needs to be repaired but the reparation is not possible to be finalized on the same day when going to the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center, for example due to parts in transit, delivery delays and other technical issues.

  1. Mechanism of the Spare Phone service

The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will require Beneficiaries to:

i.                     Firstly, provide information of the Product (model of Product and IMEI number). The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will verify the existence of all conditions for the application of this Service.

ii.                   Secondly, once confirmed that all the conditions are met, the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will provide the Spare Phone to the Beneficiary.

iii.                 The Beneficiary will need to fill in and sign the “Spare Phone Lending Agreement” first where all the conditions and obligations of Spare Phone Service are fully described.

iv.                  Once the repair of the Product is finalized, the Beneficiary will be notified by the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center and the Beneficiary will need to return the Spare Phone as per the conditions set out in the Spare Phone Lending Agreement.

  1. Conditions of the Spare Phone

Spare Phones may be either new or refurbished phones, at the discretion of Xiaomi. Same with the specific model of the Spare Phone.

Accessories or spare parts (including but not limited to charger or cable) generally will not be provided together with the Spare Phone but if so, the Beneficiary must return all the items to the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center.

Beneficiary must take reasonable measures to protect the Spare Phone against damage, loss or abuse. If Beneficiary fails to return the Spare Phone due to theft or loss, the Beneficiary shall be liable for damages. In case the Spare Phone returned by Beneficiary is damaged, Beneficiary shall be liable for the cost to repair the damage.

 

4.7   24-month Exclusive VIP customer service

During the Service period, Beneficiaries can also benefit from additional hotline services: 

-          You can contact the XIAOMI Customer Service on 1800180112(Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm).

In any case, Beneficiaries may contact regular Xiaomi Customer Service through the contact information provided in https://www.mi.com/ph/support/.  

4.8  Hassle-Free Repairs within 24 months

Beneficiaries are eligible for free pick-up and delivery services from Xiaomi Authorized Service Centers for replacement / return / repair service of the Product as required during the period of Twenty Four (24) months since first purchase by end user.

In order to enjoy this service, Beneficiaries must contact the Xiaomi Customer Support. The time of pick-up and delivery will depend on the distance between the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center and the pick-up/delivery address. And if the pick-up/delivery address is outside the delivery range, you may not be able to enjoy this service at such address.

Mechanism of the free pick-up and delivery service

The mechanism of this service may include the following processes, and please contact the Xiaomi Customer Support to get the specific mechanism:

(1) Contacting the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center as shown in the listed below under Annex I "Xiaomi Authorized Service Centers"

(2) Providing Beneficiary’s information as name, address, telephone number and IMEI number, etc. and the damage of the Product.

(3) Writing down the information above on the specified place, and packing the Product in with enough cushioning material to prevent the Product from damage transportation.

(4) Waiting for the delivery staff to pick up the Product.

(5) When the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center receives the Product, it will repair it and may contact the Beneficiary for additional information or clearer details, and the Beneficiary is obliged to answer or acknowledge such information.

(6) After the repair is completed, the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will return the Product to the address specified.

5.       MISCELLANEOUS

Data Privacy: Xiaomi attaches great importance to our Users' privacy and is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. Xiaomi strictly complies with all applicable laws and privacy policies for processing your personal information necessary to provide after-sales services (including maintenance, repair and/or spare phone lending services) to you.

For the purpose of providing you the Services under this agreement, Xiaomi will act as the data controller and we will collect, store and use your strictly necessary contact information (name, phone number, email address, ID number) and the device information. Please note that we may share also this information with any of our Authorized Service Centers, if necessary.

Please be sure to delete all your files, log out your Xiaomi account and disable your security password when returning the spare phone, including but not limited to your personal and/or confidential documents and data. The User is responsible for: (a) erasing all data (including personal and/or confidential files and data from the User); and (b) making back-up copies of all data you wish to retain, before returning the spare phone to the Authorized Service Center. Xiaomi assumes no responsibility for any data loss and privacy issues caused by your personal documents or data remaining on or not being deleted from the spare phone when you return it back.

5.2. The maintenance of some components may be required for replacement of spare parts. Therefore, the repaired products or parts may not be the original ones.

5.3. This offer is only applicable to the Products described above on clause 1. Other Xiaomi smartphones or products will not be eligible for this offer.

5.4. The Beneficiaries acknowledges that the general terms and conditions described on https://www.mi.com/ph/support/warranty/ remain applicable. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions described on the relevant www.mi.com page, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These terms and conditions are subject to Philippines Law.
