Recharging issues can manifest in several ways, such as the device not being able to find the omni station, failing to climb onto the omni station, misalignment during docking, or not charging. If the recharging process is functioning correctly, the device’s indicator will turn on and blink in white when it docks properly.
If your robot vacuum has recharging issue, you can troubleshoot with the following steps:
1. Check the power supply to the omni station. Ensure both ends of the power cable are securely plugged in, and the omni station's indicator is steady in white;
2. Wipe the charging contacts on both the omni station and the robot vacuum. Dirt or wear can cause recharging issues;
3. Check if the omni station's location on the map matches the actual setup. If there's any misalignment, consider repositioning the omni station;
4. For first-time use, install the washboard base extender correctly with smooth seams. Otherwise, the robot vacuum can not be able to climb onto the omni station. Wipe any water from the floor and the washboard base extender to prevent slipping which can cause recharging problems;
5. If the robot vacuum’s movement is abnormal, resulting in recharging issues, clear any hair or debris from the caster wheel and main wheels.
Note:
1. When using the device for the first time, ensure that it starts its mapping process from the omni station and automatically returns to the station upon completion;
2. Avoid placing obstacles too close to the omni station. Ensure that there are no obstacles within 5cm on either side and 1.5m in front of the omni station;
3. If the robot vacuum does not start its cleaning cycle from the omni station, it can not find the omni station during the cleaning process. It is recommended to start the cleaning task from the omni station;
4. If the robot vacuum is moved during the cleaning process, it can fail to reorient itself when the task resumes, leading to a new task being initiated;
5. Ensure the omni station and the floor in front of it are dry to prevent the robot vacuum from slipping during recharging.
