Why does the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G not have a global DC dimming/flicker-free mode?

Thank you for your support of Xiaomi products. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is designed with advanced OLED emissive materials. It utilizes high-frequency PWM dimming technology for low brightness levels and DC dimming for high brightness levels. The product has undergone the rigorous inspection to ensure it meets Xiaomi's specifications before leaving the factory, providing you with a reliable experience. Additionally, you can enable the Reading mode by navigating to [Settings] >> [Display & brightness] >> [Reading mode] >> turn on the [Reading mode] option, allowing you to customize the screen effects according to your preferences.
For your reference, here are the details regarding DC and PWM dimming:
1. ‌PWM dimming is a technology that adjusts the brightness by quickly switching the brightness of screen pixels. Specifically, the screen will switch on and off at a certain frequency, and the overall brightness of the screen is controlled by adjusting the ratio of the on and off time. During the adjustment process, the screen flickers very quickly and is almost imperceptible to the human eyes, so the visual impact on the human eyes is relatively small;

2. DC dimming is to change the brightness of the screen by increasing or decreasing the circuit power. Since power is determined by voltage and current, changing the voltage or current can change the screen brightness.
