You can check the following steps if you encounter a phone not showing Wi-Fi 6:
1. Wi-Fi 6 protocol is currently supported only by some high-end smartphones, so make sure your phone supports this protocol;
2. If you are connected to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, it will not show Wi-Fi 6 as the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi of AX1500 does not support Wi-Fi 6;
3. Go to the router's management interface at 192.168.31.1 and check whether the Wi-Fi 5 Compatibility Mode is enabled. You can check it by going to [Common Settings] >> [Wi-Fi Settings] >> [Wi-Fi 5 Compatibility Mode].
Note:
1. Some old devices do not support Wi-Fi 6 well. It is not able to scan for signals or connect properly, etc. After turning on this switch, it will switch to Wi-Fi 5 mode to solve compatibility issues. However, at the same time, Wi-Fi 6-related functions will be turned off;
2. You can also check the compatibility mode by going to the [Mi Home APP] >> [Network Settings] >> [Wi-Fi Settings].
