The Xiaomi Humidifier 2 Lite makes significant noise

The Xiaomi Humidifier 2 Lite is designed to minimize noise, such as light-noise technology and electric water valve structure. Additionally, noise perception can vary between individuals, so what one person considers quiet, another might find noisy.
If the humidifier makes significant noise, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check if there are any foreign objects, such as dust, fragments or debris, obstructing the device components. These objects might be caught in the bearing of the fan and you need to turn off the device and remove them;
2. Clean and maintain your device components regularly. Examine the device's components for signs of damage or wear. Worn-out components can cause vibrations and loud noises during operation. Replace any damaged parts as needed;
3. The bearing clearance of the fan may gradually increase over time, leading to shaking and vibration. This can result in loud noises during operation;
4. Ensure that all components of the device are properly assembled according to the User Manual. Loose or improperly installed parts can cause noises during use;
5. Loud noises may occur if the humidifier encounters uneven surfaces or obstacles during operation. Ensure that the area where the humidifier is operating is clear of obstacles and has even flooring;
6. Check if the humidifier is overheating during operation. Overheating can sometimes cause loud noises. Ensure that the humidifier has proper ventilation and is not operating for extended periods without breaks;
7. Updating your device firmware can help resolve the sound issues;
8. Perform a factory reset to see if the issue persists. Be aware that this will delete all your personal data and settings.
If the above troubleshooting methods can’t resolve the issue, please contact our local official service center or your seller for further assistance. They will help you in this regard.
