2. What are the pre-installed apps on Mi TV?
Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Media player, Settings, Gallery, TV Manager, Sensy TV Guide, YouTube, Play Movies, Play Music, Play Store, LIVE TV. -
3. What are the different sound and video modes available on the TV?
a. Pre-set Video modes: Vivid, Standard, Movie, Picture and Sports.
Vivid picture mode enables our latest algorithm that enables Vivid Picture Engine.
b. Pre-set Sound Modes: Game, News, Movie and Standard. Users can also customize the audio parameters. -
4. Does it support Netflix and Amazon Prime Video?
Mi TV 4X 50 comes with Netflix and Amazon Prime Video out of the box. -
5. What is Vivid Picture Engine?
The Vivid Picture Engine (VPE) is our in-house image processing tech which delivers exceptional colours, significant depth, and deeper contrasts on our TV panels.
This means a more immersive experience for the viewer, with billions of colours that offer life-like variations where every subtlety becomes immediately noticeable. -
6. How does Data Saver work?
Data Saver helps users enjoy smart TV features via a phone hotspot while conserving data usage. You can stream up to 3 times the usual video content on the same daily limit.
Data Saver also includes two additional features:

● Ability to “View phone media” on TV without using data -
7. Which app store can I use to install apps?
Mi TV comes with Google’s Play Store. You can find TV apps on the Play Store. These apps are specifically made for TV. -
8. Can I change TV channels using my Mi TV remote?
Yes, you can. Please ensure that the IR cable is connected to the Mi TV and is facing the Set Top Box. Configure the Set Top Box under Sensy TV Settings, and you are good to go.
*You need to purchase an additional Mi IR Cable for this function. -
9. Can I use the Mi Remote with CEC supported devices?
Tested Devices: Amazon Fire TV stick, Apple TV 4K.
Note: You cannot use the same function on any of the Set-Top boxes. -
10. Will the TV support 3rd party applications?
Yes, 3rd party applications can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. -
11. Does the TV have the Chromecast option?
Yes, all our new TVs have Chromecast built-in.
