2.What are the different sound and video modes available on the TV?
a. Pre-set Video modes: Standard, Movie, Picture and Sports. Users can also customize the display parameters.
b. Pre-set Sound Modes: Game, News, Movie and Standard. Users can also customize the audio parameters. -
3.Which DTH / Cable Operators are supported by Mi TV?
Mi TV supports 4000+ DTH/Cable Operators across India. -
4.How do I update the TV software?
Please go to Settings >System update-> MIUI TV version. -
5.Which content applications comes with Mi TV PatchWall?
Mi TV comes with Hooq, Zee5, Hungama Play, Eros Now, Sun NXT, Alt Balaji. Just click on any content and apps will get downloaded and will start playing the video.
You can also watch LIVE news available on News channel on PatchWall. -
6.Does Mi TV support Screen mirroring?
Yes, you can use built-in wireless screen sharing app. It will work with supported Android phones. -
7.Can I change TV channels using my Mi TV remote?
Yes, you can. Please ensure that the Mi IR cable is connected to the Mi TV and is facing the Set Top Box. Configure the Set Top Box under Sensy TV Settings, and you are good to go. -
8.Can I use the Mi Remote with CEC supported devices?
Tested Devices: Amazon Fire TV stick, Google Chromecast, Apple TV.
Set-top boxes (DTH/CableTV) cannot be natively supported using CEC. -
9. What are the pre-installed apps on this TV?
The Mi TV features Media player, Settings, Gallery, TV Manager, Sensy TV Guide, YouTube, Play Movies, Play Music, Play Store, LIVE TV. -
10.Is IR cable compatible with all the set top boxes?
Yes, it is compatible with all set top boxes which have an IR sensor (IR set top Box) in it. Sold separately. -
11.What is Micast inside security settings?
Micast allows Mi remote application on Xiaomi phones to control Mi TV over Wi-Fi. You can control set-top box and stream videos right from Mi Remote app to Mi TV over Wi-Fi.
Enable Stream from your device to your TV to ON.
Make sure both Mi TV and Xiaomi phones are on the same Wi-Fi for this function to work.
