Solution:
1. Log in to https://account.xiaomi.com and click "Forgot Password". Enter Mi account number, bound email address or mobile phone number and verification code and click "Next";
Note: Mi account, mobile phone number or email address is necessary for resetting password.
2. If the Mi account is bound to a mobile phone number and the mobile phone number can receive the verification code normally, click "Send SMS" to receive the verification code on the mobile phone, and fill in the correct verification code to reset the password.
3. If the mobile phone number is not bound or the mobile phone number is not bound to receive the verification code (change of mobile phone number, lost mobile phone, etc.), click "Change to another verification method" to reset the password by receiving the verification email through the secure mailbox.
4. Receive verification email in secure mailbox: After selecting “Receive verification email through secure mailbox", send a verification code to the bound mailbox, and enter the verification code in the email to reset the password.
5. Account appeal reset password security: If the above methods cannot retrieve the password / reset password, select “Reset your recovery phone” to fill in the information required for review, and send the results to the reset security within 3 working days after submission on the phone.
